Good news, everyone! We reported a while ago that someone had created a native MMS application for the iPhone that would allow iPhone owners to send MMS messages to other people, but it still couldn’t receive MMS messages. Thankfully that has changed. The SwirlyMMS has been updated to enable iPhone users to both send and receive MMSIn order for the app to work correctly, you’ll need to make sure that you have your settings configured correctly for your region and carrier. You can get instructions on how to do that here.
Also, it hasn’t been mentioned, but we think you might need to add MMS to your iPhone plan for this to work correctly.
You can find SwirlyMMS in the Installer.app under the “network” catigory.
