The basics are predictable enough, but there’s more than meets the eye with the first of the EU iPhones. The landscape is subtly (and not so subtly) different there, and the first reports from across the pond paint an interesting picture.
• The British iPhone is claimed to have bronze, not silver trim.
• O2 has implemented user-interface changes. There is a menu for “SIM applications.”
• As suggested in the earlier reports, the new firmware, 1.1.2, bricks unlocked iPhones.
