Mac developer Ecamm has posted a sneak peak of iPhoneCam, an application that uses your iPhone’s camera as a wireless Mac webcam. You can stream video from your iPhone over its WiFi to any Mac video application, including iChat, Photo Booth, or Skype.
The application turns your iPhone’s built-in camera into a wireless web cam for your Mac (sorry Windows users), allowing you to stream video from your iPhone via Wi-Fi to the Mac application of your choice. According to Erica Sadun, using your iPhone to video chat with is a little akward, but it’s still a very cool concept.
Sadly the app isn’t for download yet, but Ecamm says that they will be demoing it at their booth at Macworld, so hopefully we’ll have more hands-on info for you soon. to check the video demo of the app.
