Faced with the high pressure of  several class-action lawsuits, which is about how on earth iPod batteries
could last between charging, Apple Canada finally agreed to compensate $45 credit to any Canadian
who bought an Apple iPod player before June 24, 2004.

The claimed working hours is 8 hours, but iPod says farewell to its users after just three hours’ hard work.
In this case, more than 80,000 Canadian users have been recognized as eligible, and it may cost Apple $36 million
in credits. It’s really a great cost to them, but if they had known how to make use of this amount of money to lengthen
the working hours of the battery, to do as it advertises.

Apple must have learnt this lesson well.
