Up until this point, the forthcoming Ghostbusters game has only been confirmed for the home consoles: the PS3, PS2, Xbox 360, Wii and PC. Upon seeing this lineup, it’s easy to see that the PSP is missing, which was disappointing to fans of Sony’s handheld. However, the game may be going portable after all, as Terminal Reality has recently stated.

According to Eurogamer, executive producer Brendan Goss didn’t rule out the possibility of a PSP version-

“There are discussions right now about a PSP version,” he said. “We’re waiting to see how the PS2 stuff goes from a technical side with memory, then it may get ported to the PSP.”

Obviously, it’d be difficult to port over a PS3 title to the PSP, but the game is also being made for the last-generation PS2. Therefore, it doesn’t seem as big of a stretch to put Ghostbusters on the PSP, and that’s good news. If you hadn’t noticed, the PSP is rapidly gaining ground on the Nintendo DS and is currently one of the hottest pieces of electronic hardware on the market. This being the case, Terminal Reality might be well advised to issue a PSP version of Ghostbusters, and we’ll let you know if they make that decision.

Since childhood, games have always been an integral part of our life. With our daily routine taking the hell out of our times, we just do not have the time to get ourselves involved in an outdoor game. And in these circumstances, online video games come to our rescue. It cannot get better if you are able to play this game on your own PSP which can just be held in one hand with navigation done on most of the games by not more than 4-5 keys. Video Games for PSP are so great!

The same rule goes for selecting a video game of your choice. These video Games cost you a lot in terms of storage space on your PSP memory. So before you look at downloading any of those games, you could ensure that your PSP memory has the capacity to accommodate the game.

As the rule of demand-supply is, you will get a lot of options to choose from if you decide upon downloading a video game. The key point to note is which game to download. That in itself is such an interesting question to answer which would then mean that you would need to decide “What is the theme of the video game you wish to download ?”. Going to a website on the internet without knowing the theme will be like going to a deep forest blind-folded.

Tip: Do you Want UNLIMITED game downloads For PSP? Get access to over 200,000 PSP games, movies, music for download. Download as many games, music, movies, videos for PSP as you can handle. Click below to start downloading psp games CLICK HERE

Raking in the top votes in some of the top gaming websites are games titled “Star wars at the Battlefront”, “Gods of War : Chain of Olympus”. If one’s theme is secret missions completed by a group of rogues, the other talks about traps, stunts with you needing to take the role of Kratos.

My all time favorite will be the “Grand Theft Auto”. Extremely easy to learn with a learning period of half an hour, this game boasts of some of the best sound tracks and multiplayer dialogues. Some of the missions in this game are so long that they can keep you occupied for almost the whole day. Control issues are the only bad things that may cause damage reputation to this game.

Titles can be different and so may be the degree of fun with these games. One thing is sure, you are assured of value for money. Just make sure, you have your themes right…

By the way… I love All PSP Games. It is the ultimate PSP download site. Download thousands of games, movies, music, etc. straight to your PSP for a low onetime fee. For unlimited PSP downloads CLICK HERE

EA have announced that the next film in the Harry Potter series will be getting an army of new games to coincide with its release. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, the sixth book in the overarching Potter world will get games on all platforms; more interesting to PS Fanboys, the titles will be on the PS3 and PSP.

Details on the Half-Blood Prince games were scarce; all that’s really known right now is that they will follow the events of the upcoming movie. Speaking of which, the film is expected for a November 21, 2008 release. It follows that the games should be ready by November as well.

Although Rockstar is best known for the titles that cause politicians to burst a blood vessel, it has been tirelessly developing some fairly decent racing games for a number years under the name Midnight Club. The latest in the series is due to land on PS3 this September.

The series has often been overlooked in the past, struggling to keep up with competition from the Need For Speed and Burnout series. It has always been a forward thinking series, known for its focus on open-world racing without tracks or barriers, but in the pre-HD era this led to some rather bland environments that let the game down.

2-mc_la_screen2-thumb-400×225.jpg

Well, this is the HD era, and as you can see from the screenshots that it’s making a pretty big difference. After the hit-and-miss Burnout Paradise offering from EA earlier in the year, this could turn the tables for the franchise.

For its fourth iteration, the series is taking to the streets of Los Angeles, hence the name. The Rockstar San Diego team has recreated much of the cities real-life layout, but added in a few “twists and turns” to keep things interesting. As we’ve discovered from the many games that tried so hard to replicate real life cities a few years back, real life just doesn’t make for a great game experience, and why should it really?

3-mc_la_screen3-thumb-400×225.jpg

Car customisation is playing an important role once again and players will be able to tune up the performance and appearance of the officially licensed vehicles to suit their tastes. The vehicle selection will also include muscle cars and motorbikes, and official rims, spoilers and stuff. There’s no full list on what’s available but we’d only expect that nearer the time.

The same open world racing style is back of course, thus giving LA residents a bit of an unfair advantage on the rest of us, although I suspect their first port of call will be to try and find their houses and offices.

Other exciting features include zero load times, in the same spirit as GTA, no tracks and no rules. So that’ll be lots of shunting then.

4-mc_la_screen4-thumb-400×225.jpg

As you can probably tell by no, the game engine is capable of producing some pretty jaw-dropping graphics - you can see some equally impressive video over at the official site too.

Midnight Club LA is coming to Xbox 360 and PS3 on September 9th in North America and arriving on the 12th here in Europe. A PSP version, Midnight Club: LA Remix will hit the PSP at the same time.

For Emmanuel Bangura, owner of a video game center on Kissy Road in the eastern part of Freetown, the PlayStation is a good business because it generates up to 120,000 leones (US$40) or more for him in a day.

“I have even bought a car out of this business,” he said.

In Sierra Leone, where workers have an average annual income of about $240, making $40 in a day is lucrative. Bangura started the center last year.

Across Freetown, the nation’s capital city of about a million people, it is estimated that there are over 800 PlayStation centers, usually filled with young people who want to play the latest virtual football game or adventure titles like “The Matrix.”

Though more than half of Sierra Leone’s population is under the age of 30, another owner of a video game center, Abdulai Bah, said the games are not only played by school children but office workers, who visit mostly during weekends.

He said some gamers play for three hours while others pay up to 20,000 ($6.70) to play for the whole day. It costs 1,000 leones ($0.33) to play a round of the game. A video game console can run on 10 liters of fuel in a generator for a day if there is a cut in power supply from the national grid. Bah added that some players even take bets on their gaming prowess.

Ibrahim Kargbo, a student from the Albert Academy School, said his love for the game is extreme and he cannot study well if he skips even a day.

Game players love the animation so much that they consider playing video games to be on par with watching their favorite English Premier League, Seria A and La Liga players.

The PlayStation console is the featured console in the centers. Other game consoles are available, but the PS2 is the most popular in the commercial gaming centers, which focus on easy-to-understand, two player games. Screens project the action for players, who range from eight to 30 years of age.

The handheld version of PlayStation, the PlayStation Portable (PSP), which operates with Universal Media Discs (UMDs), is also creeping into the market. Lamin Bangura, a young player, said the PSP is not as common as the console version and most people who own PSPs in Freetown have received them as gifts from loved ones abroad. A used UMD with a movie on it goes for 30,000 leones on the streets, and is yet to be stocked by games accessory dealers.

By now, I have lost count on the number of times Sony (NYSE: SNE) has started working for movie/video download services for either Playstation or PSP, and has launched some variations of its in different countries, or shelved it altogether. Now comes another one, this time for PlayStation 3. LAT reports that it is preparing to launch an online video service through PS3 as early as this summer. It has been talking to studios and networks on the deals for a few week now. As the story points out, Sony’s forays prior to the PS franchise have been Movielink (now part of Blockbuster), and then Sony Connect, another disaster which is being phased out.

For the new service, Sony plans to embrace open standards that would make its offering compatible with a range of computers and hand-held devices, including PSP, though Sony’s reputation on openness isn’t exactly stellar, or anywhere close to it. Sony could as well be spelt “Silo”, and would be the best description of the company: as the story points out, that’s what Sony CEO Howard Stringer has been battling against. The PlayStation group in Foster City, CA, has been notoriously aloof, and has previously scuttled plans for a movie subscription service for the PSP even though Sony Pictures had supported the initiative.

This is the best quote to come out of the oft-quoted Richard Doherty in a while, by the way: “Sony has this blessing and curse of [having] some of the world’s smartest intellectual property lawyers, who’ve never built or marketed a product in their life, who are good at saying, ‘no’…The sun never sets on the Sony lawyers, they’re around the world, in Tokyo, London, New York.”

It would compete against the Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT) XBox Live service, which has about 10 million subscribers. The service has 4,800 hours of video, a quarter of them in HD. That includes 350 movies and more than 5,000 episodes of TV shows.
